Our republic is a region rich in natural resources. The total area of Tatarstan's water basins exceeds 4 thousand square kilometers. Each water body is a part of our common cultural heritage, which we are obliged to preserve and protect for future generations.  

For people with disabilities who drive a car or are passengers, the issue of an equipped parking space in the yards of apartment buildings in which they live is particularly acute.  

Today the Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after M. Jalil hosted a solemn event dedicated to the Day of the Russian Language and the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin.

In order to improve the quality of review of notifications in the SIS “Public Control”, the staff of the Office of the Commissioner monitors notifications received in the system on a daily basis.

Today in our Apparatus on the eve of Children's Day the telephone “hot line” on issues of admission to pre-school educational organizations, schools, specialized secondary and higher educational institutions received calls.  

The main result for the Commissioner and his team is a solved problem of a resident. Stability in the republic depends on an active position, the ability to hear people's opinions and dialog with citizens.  

Human rights activities of the Commissioner are multifaceted. In our activities we try to cover a wide range of legal relations, to identify problematic issues faced by the residents of our republic and their resolution. In May-June of the current year we have planned familiarization field trips to institutions for orphans and children left without parental care.  

Yesterday at eight o'clock in the evening the preliminary voting of "United Russia", which will determine the candidates for deputies to the State Council of the seventh convocation from the party, came to an end.  

Deputies of the State Council intend to address the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin on the issue of preventing the spread of drug addiction, including among minors. This became known today at the meeting of the Committee on Law and Order. In addition, the parliamentarians discussed the implementation of legislation on road safety, approved the candidates proposed by the Supreme Court of the Republic for election as justices of the peace, considered a number of other topical issues.
