In the report on the activities of the Commissioner for 2023, the issues of violation of citizens' rights when limiting or suspending the provision of public utilities were highlighted. Despite the measures taken, the Ombudsman continues to receive appeals on this subject.  

The Commissioner for Human Rights in Tatarstan met with Alexander Brod, Director of the Moscow Bureau for Human Rights, member of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights.  

The 54th session of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today. The meeting approved the date of elections of deputies of the State Council of the seventh convocation. The elections are scheduled for September 8, 2024.
