Non-comercial organizations and human rights

Tha 3rd republican forum socio-oriented organizations, gathering all the leading representatives of the civil society was opened in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Participents of the forum disscused the issues of convicts' rights including conditional release and re-socialization. So, the chairman of the Public Oversight Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan Larisa Rascheskova spoke on this topic, General Director of the Autonomous Non-comercial Organization "Center for Social Rehabilitation and Adaptation" Azat Gainutdinov shared his experience of protection and restoration of the rights of former convicts in Tatarstan.

Great work on legal education of the population conducted by the Tatarstan regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, an autonomous non-profit organization "Nongovernmental Center of free legal aid of the Republic of Tatarstan" at the Institute of Economics, Management and Law (Kazan).

During the meeting of the section "NGOs and human rights", participants and listeners made suggestions for the development of civil society, non-governmental organizations active in the field of human rights in the resolution of the forum, which will be approved at a plenary meeting on 19 August, the hotel complex "Korston".

Let us recall that in August 2015 III Republican forum of socially oriented noncommercial organizations was conducted in Tatarstan. The Forum held sectional events will be an exhibition of the best practices by NGOs. In Tatarstan, the forum is being held for the third time. The results of the II Forum, which was attended by more than 100 socially-oriented noncommercial organizations were summed up this December. Speaking of human rights activities in the country, we can not ignore human rights policies in the Republic of Tatarstan in the years 2014-2018, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
