Participated in a meeting of the organizing committees for the preparation and holding of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in the Republic of Tatarstan and for holding the Year of Military and Labor Valor in 2026 in the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the meeting, it was noted that 5,534 veterans of the Great Patriotic War live in the republic today, including 92 veterans. On the eve of Victory Day, lump-sum payments were made to all participants of the Great Patriotic War in accordance with the Decree of the President of Russia, and personal congratulations from the Head of State were presented. In Tatarstan, veterans received personalized congratulations from the Raisa of the republic and gift sets.
Special attention is paid to the issues of social and medical support for veterans. Today, more than 900 people receive social assistance at home, and some veterans live in specialized institutions with professional care.
The support of the participants of the special military operation was discussed separately. Currently, more than 3.5 thousand veterans of the Russian Armed Forces live in the republic, whose contribution to the country's security is invaluable. A system of medical care and rehabilitation of military personnel has been established in the republic, and work is underway on their employment and social adaptation.
Rustam Minnikhanov called the patriotic education of the younger generation a strategic task of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan. He called for using different forms of dialogue with young people.
