International Family Day

International Family Day was established by the General Assembly in 1993. The establishment of this day aims to draw public attention to the many problems of the family. According to UN Secretary-General, when violated the fundamental rights of the same family - the unity of the entire human family, which they are members, is under threat.
The family, as the basic element of society, has been and remains the guardian of human values, cultural and historical continuity of generations, a factor of stability and development. Because of the family is growing and developing states, increasing the welfare of the people.
At all times of the development of the country was judged by the position of the family in society and in relation to her country.
