The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from a resident of Kazan, citizen O., on behalf of her mother, citizen Ya. The woman was unable to make an appointment with an endocrinologist at Polyclinic No. 2 of the State Autonomous Healthcare Institution "Clinical Hospital No. 2" in Kazan. The consultation was required in connection with an upcoming operation to replace the lens of the eye.
As the applicant reported, the possibility of electronic registration through the personal account of the state services portal was not available, and the registry staff insisted on registration exclusively online.
We sent an appeal to the Health Department of Kazan with a request to sort out the situation. As a result, the issue was promptly resolved, and an appointment with an endocrinologist was organized for the patient.
