Today, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, the results of the fuel and energy and housing and communal services complexes during the 2024/2025 heating season were summed up, and the tasks for the upcoming season were outlined.
As reported by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin, the heating season lasted from September 16 to May 16 and lasted 243 days. In the republic, over 3.2 thousand boiler houses and almost 18 thousand apartment buildings, as well as social facilities, were prepared for winter.
During the heating season, 4,164 accidents were recorded, of which 958 were in the heat supply sector. Most often, accidents occurred in the Nizhnekamsk region. There were also 37 cases of carbon monoxide poisoning in 2024 and 14 since the beginning of 2025.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin noted that preparation for winter is directly related to payments by the population, organizations and enterprises for energy resources. As of May 1 of this year, the population's debt for housing and communal services exceeded 10 billion rubles.
As part of the federal program for the modernization of public utilities infrastructure in 2023-2024, 67 events were implemented in Tatarstan. In 2025, the federal program for the modernization of public utilities infrastructure became part of the new national project "Infrastructure for Life" - it is planned to implement 36 objects. In addition, a republican program with funding of 8.5 billion rubles will be launched.
Alexey Pesoshin emphasized the need for high-quality preparation for the next heating season and called for increased control over the implementation of investment programs, the modernization of utility networks and the maintenance of gas equipment.
