Today marks the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the Commissioner for Human Rights Office in the Republic of Tatarstan.
For over a quarter of a century, the Commissioner, his staff, and our public assistants have been protecting the rights and freedoms of the republic's residents. Citizens' requests are reviewed daily, receptions and consultations are held, field work is carried out, and legal education events are organized. We work systematically and continuously to protect and restore violated rights, paying close attention to each request and each specific situation.
Our work is impossible without constructive interaction with government agencies, local governments, the human rights community, and public organizations. Only through joint efforts can we find solutions and achieve the restoration of violated rights.
I thank everyone who has contributed and continues to contribute to the development of the Human Rights Commissioner's Office in the Republic of Tatarstan over these 26 years!
Our consistent work to strengthen guarantees for human rights and freedoms in our republic will continue!
