Today, together with the non-profit organization "Special Children. Tatarstan," we held a conference, "Dialogue on Autism: Support, Development, and Practical Solutions for Families," at the ASG Reception House.
This topic is undoubtedly important and requires ongoing professional and public attention. It addresses not only medical aspects but also a comprehensive system for supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorders throughout all stages of life.
We discussed ensuring the rights of children and adults with ASD, the development of inclusive education, early diagnosis and the current referral system, the implementation of support programs for young people with autism, the role of the non-profit sector in developing sustainable support models, as well as modern clinical interventions and interdisciplinary approaches.
Following the conference, a tour was organized for guests at the ASG Reception House, featuring artefacts from various countries.
It's crucial that support issues for families raising children with ASD be addressed systematically—with the participation of government agencies, the medical and educational communities, and public organizations. I hope the conference provided parents with a useful platform for obtaining up-to-date information and practical guidance!
