Today, the Assembly unites 270 local and regional public associations representing 39 nationalities. Houses and centers of friendship between peoples operate in the republic, and municipal representative offices are developing, including a representative office opened in the Arsk District in 2025.
Particular attention was paid during the reporting year to events related to the Year of Defenders of the Fatherland. A large-scale exhibition, "Heroes of Multinational Tatarstan," was held in Kazan, showcasing the contributions of representatives of various nationalities to the defense of the country.
With the active participation of the Assembly and national cultural associations, traditional folk festivals reflecting the cultural diversity and unity of the peoples of Tatarstan were held at a high level.
