The implementation of the state program "Strategic Talent Management" was discussed today at a meeting of the Committee on Education, Culture, Science, and National Affairs.
It was noted that since 2020, more than 113,000 schoolchildren have participated in efforts to identify and support gifted children. The electronic database of talented children lists over 25,000 talented children, 6,500 of whom receive various state support programs. Approximately 70% of graduates remain to live and work in the republic.
Parliamentarians also discussed the financial support standards for state guarantees for preschool, school, and supplementary education for 2026 and the 2027-2028 planning period. Financial support standards for the implementation of preschool and school educational programs, as well as supplementary and vocational education, have been increased by 20% for 2026 compared to 2025.
Additionally, the deputies reviewed amendments to the republican laws on science and scientific activity, as well as on physical education and sports, aimed at aligning republican legislation with federal legislation.
The meeting concluded with the approval of the Committee on Education, Culture, Science, and National Issues' work plan for the fourth quarter of 2025.
