The Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan has set up a Headquarters for public observation of elections and a Situation Center.
Today I visited it together with a member of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Alexander Malkevich.
We took part in a video connection with municipal districts of the republic. We learned first-hand how the work at polling stations is organized, what the mood of citizens is, how voting is provided for voters with limited mobility and other categories of the population who need special conditions.
The work of the Headquarters allows us to receive up-to-date information about the progress of elections in the republic in real time and promptly respond to emerging issues.
