Today, an extended meeting of the Public Council of the personnel program for veterans and participants of the special military operation "Batyrlar. Heroes of Tatarstan" was held at the Kazan Federal University. The program is being implemented on behalf of the President of Russia and is an analogue of the federal initiative "Time of Heroes".
More than 1.6 thousand people applied for participation. The best of the best were selected for the program - participants who showed the best results in completing the tasks. Among those present at the meeting, 14 people are holders of the Order of Courage, and one of them is a two-time holder of the Order of Courage.
The project, initiated by Rustam Minnikhanov, is aimed at supporting the career growth of special military operation veterans in the public administration system. The selection took place in three stages: questionnaires, testing and interviews.
The Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan emphasized the importance of the fighters' participation in the state agenda, noting their role in the patriotic education of youth: "Our task is to support the families of servicemen, veterans of the special military operation, to provide comprehensive assistance. You understand this best of all. Therefore, it is very important for us to have people with relevant experience in our team. We are proud of you!" - said Rustam Minnikhanov.
