A round table meeting was held on issues of construction and repair of roads in rural areas
Today, a roundtable meeting organized by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation faction was held in the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, where issues of road construction and repair in rural areas were discussed.
The focus was on the problem of the lack of a direct road between the settlements of Ishteryakovo in Tukaevsky District and Kerekes in Zainsky District. Deputies, representatives of relevant ministries and departments, municipal authorities, rural settlements and residents of the districts raised a wider range of issues - from the lack of safe pedestrian crossings and bus service to the general transport accessibility of villages.
Following the roundtable, it was decided to develop specific proposals that will form the basis for further solutions to issues regarding rural roads.
