On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Tatarstan held an event called "Laws of Victory".

The event discussed the specifics of legal regulation during the Great Patriotic War. The discussion focused on the criminal legislation of wartime, the development of science under conditions of total tension, the work of the courts and lawyers of the Tatar ASSR - how the legal system lived and functioned in the most difficult conditions.

One of the key goals of the meeting was to preserve historical memory through the study of the legal aspects of the war period.

The memory of the Great Patriotic War is our common responsibility. And keeping it alive means passing on to future generations not only a sense of pride, but also a deep understanding of the price at which the Victory was achieved.
