The XXXVI conference of TRB ARPP “United Russia” was held today in the Palace of Culture named after S. S. Kuznetsov. С. Said-Galiyev Palace of Culture in Kazan.
The conference was attended by 249 delegates from 45 local branches of the party, as well as participants of the preliminary voting. The conference approved the list of candidates for the upcoming elections to the State Council of the seventh convocation, as well as presented the party's election program.
Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted in his speech that the election campaign will not be held in the easiest conditions. “Geopolitical challenges, unprecedented sanctions pressure and information counteraction, which our country is facing, affect all spheres of life,” the parliamentarian emphasized. Despite the challenges, the head of the parliament urged to conduct the campaign at the highest level, as well as to emphasize the solution of urgent issues of concern to the residents of the republic.
It should be noted that the election of deputies to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan will be held on September 08, 2024.
