During the summer, the situation with regard to the export of nuclear weapons was considered at the next meeting of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of a representative of the Human Rights Commissioner in Tatarstan.
In total, since the last meeting of the Headquarters - June 6, the GIS of RT «People’s Control» received 107 notifications of citizens on the problem of untimely removal of solid municipal waste, of which the largest amount from residents of Kazan (46), Pestrechinsky (19), Almetevsky (9) and Laishevsky districts (7), as well as t. Naberezhnye Chelny (7).
Despite the fact that the situation with proper execution of these notifications is improving, problem points where measures need to be taken remain. Thus, the residents of the village of Bolshaya Kaban, Laishevsky District, in a notification that received 28 citizens' backing, complain about the flooding of the territory around container sites.
According to the area of activity of LLC «Grinty», the largest number of support - 11 received a notification with a complaint from the residents of the Yamashi rural settlement of Almeteyevsky district, where according to them, the regional operator has not removed the garbage from the container yard for three weeks.
The managers of the regional operators assured that the unauthorized landfills would soon be eliminated. Also at this meeting we summed up the results of the meeting of the Project Office for the implementation of the project «Regional Control Centre in the Republic of Tatarstan», which was held last week.
So we recommend:
📍The executive authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan make the necessary in the territorial scheme in the field of waste management;
📍The Executive Committees of the Republic’s municipalities shall ensure the creation and maintenance of places of accumulation of food and nutritional supplements, a register of places of accumulation;
📍 Regional TKI operators ensure strict compliance with the periodicity and time of removal of TRCs in accordance with sanitary standards;
📍 Analyse citizens' communications through various channels of communication on the removal of solid municipal waste and
📍 Conduct analysis of citizens' appeals, coming through various channels of communication on the removal of solid municipal waste and work with the population on the measures taken in the framework of treatment of TCTs, etc.
