Speech by the Ombudsman of Tatarstan at the meeting of the Coordinating Council of Commissioners in the Far Eastern Federal District

At a time of general global instability, the role of young people in the global agenda is great. Therefore, the promotion of youth issues is an important part of state policy.

Today at a meeting of the Coordinating Council of Commissioners for Human Rights in the Far Eastern Federal District spoke about working with young people in the Republic of Tatarstan in general, and the commissioners in particular.

There are more than 4 million people in the Republic of Tatarstan, and about a million of them are young people aged 14 to 35. The youth volunteer movement of Tatarstan has more than 99 thousand people.

We must form in our youth an active attitude to life, a high legal culture and the right guidelines and values.
