The decade of the elderly continues. Often, elderly citizens turn to us with questions in the sphere of housing and communal services, ranging from the solution of household issues, in the form of replacement of metering devices, ending with unjustified charges for communal services

Today in Kazan during the day we have a telephone hotline «Women’s Attention» dedicated to the protection of the rights of senior citizens, veterans and people with disabilities, dedicated to the Decade of Older People.

Visits to places of detention continued.

At citizens' parties, people come to me with different life stories, issues that require a truly delicate approach. Personal communication with the citizens during the reception allows the Commissioner to get a full picture of the situation and to study in detail the issues that concern the residents of the republic.

On the days of the Decade of the Elderly we pay our grandparents a little more attention than on ordinary days. Gray is a reason for pride! After all, she is a witness of wisdom and life experience. To surround with care, love, warmth is our main task.

One of the characteristic features of the institution of ombudsmen is close international and interregional cooperation, active cooperation between colleagues.
