Today in Kazan during the day we have a telephone hotline «Women’s Attention» dedicated to the protection of the rights of senior citizens, veterans and people with disabilities, dedicated to the Decade of Older People.
Part of the questions received related to the assignment, registration and indexation of pensions, the social rehabilitation of elderly citizens, the appointment of sanatorium and spa treatment, as well as the organization of leisure of pensioners.
«The hotline allows «to make cuts» and monitor those that affect the elderly, for further decision by the executive and legislative authorities», - said Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Tatiana Larionova.
The representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection, the Ministry of Health, the Notary and Bar Chamber answered the questions of the Tatarstan residents together with the members of the Association «Mrahamem-Mercy» and the Commissioner for Human Rights, State Housing Inspectorate, Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation, Prosecutor’s Office. There were 45 calls.
