At our request, the serviceman was nominated for a state award
Recently, a serviceman, citizen S., serving under contract and carrying out combat missions in a special military operation zone, contacted our Office.
The applicant stated that he had been continuously participating in the special military operation since October 2023. While performing combat missions, the serviceman was wounded three times, yet despite this, the question of nominating him for a state award remained unresolved for a long time.
Considering the circumstances outlined in the appeal, as well as the courage and dedication citizen S. demonstrated in the performance of his military duty, I have asked the military unit command to consider nominating the applicant for a state award of the Russian Federation.
Following the results of this review, a decision has been made to nominate the serviceman for the Order of St. George – the Cross of St. George, 4th Class.
The feat of every one of our servicemen who has demonstrated courage and heroism in the performance of their military duty should receive the recognition they deserve!
