31 July 2026, Friday

Adelina Mursalimova, Head of the Information and Analysis Department of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan, participated in a working meeting with representatives of the press services of the human rights commissioners in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, representatives of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Federation discussed key areas of information activities, shared successful media practices, and presented new approaches to covering the work of regional commissioners.

Colleagues presented recommendations on potential sections and thematic areas that should be highlighted in our social media. A separate topic of discussion was interaction with the SDGs in the regions. I would like to highlight our close collaboration with the SDGs of Tatarstan, where I am the Chair of the Project Office.

I am particularly pleased that the work of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan was recognized during the meeting. The Republic of Tatarstan is currently the leader among regions in terms of coverage of the activities of human rights ombudsmen on social media and online media!

It was agreed to hold such meetings on a regular basis – once per quarter. Furthermore, training workshops aimed at improving informational work and sharing best practices will be organized for representatives of regional offices.
