As part of a working trip to the Ulyanovsk Region, I visited one of the military units where our young men from Tatarstan serve, together with Sergei Lyulkov, the Commissioner for Human Rights for the Ulyanovsk Region.
Today, 20 servicemen from the Republic of Tatarstan serve here, coming from the Sabinsky, Almetyevsk, Buinsky, Zainsky, Aznakaevsky, Vysokogorsky, and Atninsky districts, as well as Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny.
As has become tradition, we toured the barracks, mess hall, and other facilities of the military unit, learning about the service and living conditions of the soldiers. The unit also houses a museum displaying the history of the military unit.
Most importantly, we were able to speak with the young men personally. They serve with honor and warmly speak about their native Tatarstan and their plans for the future.
I am sincerely proud of our fellow countrymen. I wish everyone well-being and a speedy return home, where their family and friends are eagerly awaiting them!
