A School of Legal Knowledge class was held for students of the University of the Third Age

13 March 2026, Friday

Cybersecurity and the "Safe City" system were discussed today at a Legal Knowledge School class for students of the Third Age University.

Lecturers from the Kazan City Executive Committee explained the most common types of fraud, how to avoid being scammed, and who is most often at risk.

Following the lecture, attendees were able to ask questions. They were particularly interested in what measures the government is taking to combat fraud, how to self-prohibit loans, and how to distinguish a fraudulent website from a legitimate one. All questions were answered in detail and provided with practical recommendations.

Cybersecurity is a particularly pressing topic today. In 2025 alone, approximately 1.5 million cases of cyberfraud will be officially registered, making it crucial to improve citizens' legal and digital literacy so they can recognize threats promptly and protect themselves and their loved ones!
