Today, the 3rd Republican Trade Union Forum, "Labor Valor of Tatarstan Women," was held in Kazan at the Livadia-Tatarstan Sanatorium.
The forum brought together representatives of the trade union movement from the republic and CIS countries. Its main goal was to highlight women's contribution to the region's economic development and express gratitude for their labor and heroism throughout history.
Elena Kuzmicheva, Chairperson of the Tatarstan Federation of Trade Unions, thanked the women of Tatarstan for their contribution to the republic's development and noted their significant role in public and professional life. The forum presented programs to support motherhood, child-rearing, and women's employment, and provided an opportunity for trade union associations to exchange experiences. Particular attention was paid to preserving traditions, strengthening patriotism, and intergenerational continuity.
The event concluded with the delivery of humanitarian aid to the SVO zone, collected with the support of the republic's trade unions. It included medicines, food, generators, radios, and warm clothing, knitted as part of the "Warmth for the Heroes of the SVO" campaign.
