I attended a meeting between Tatyana Moskalkova, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Federation, and human rights commissioners in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, I presented a report on the work of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan in providing legal assistance to participants in special military operations and their families.
I spoke about the established cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the prosecutor's office, the Military Commissioner's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, the branch of the State Foundation "Defenders of the Fatherland" in the Republic of Tatarstan, and other agencies, which enables me to promptly respond to citizens' requests.
I also presented to my colleagues the digital solutions being implemented to protect the rights of participants in special military operations, including the "CARING FOR YOURSELF" platform, the integration of the SIS RT "Public Control", and improvements to the 117 hotline. In addition, joint citizen receptions, telephone hotlines, and consultations with relevant agencies and organizations are held on an ongoing basis.
Supporting special military operation participants and their families requires special attention, a sensitive approach, and ongoing interagency cooperation!
