A tour of the Human Shelter Social Adaptation Center was given to Kazan university students.
The organization's director, Alexander Sukhanov, explained the center's activities and how it helps people in difficult life situations. Since 2018, Human Shelter has been engaged in extensive charitable work, providing support to low-income pensioners, large families, people with disabilities, fire victims, homeless people, and other citizens in need.
Special attention is paid to providing hot meals. Currently, there are 12 locations in Kazan where those in need can receive free hot meals. The students were also introduced to our joint work as part of the Social Patrol project. During these outings, we provide assistance to homeless people, whose information is recorded through the ESIS GLONASS+112.
The students were shown the center's grounds, learned about the organization's daily operations, and learned about its volunteer activities. The students actively asked questions and learned about the center's activities with great interest.
It's incredibly important that today, there are people and organizations around us who help those who need it most every day!
