Today, at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan, we launched a telephone hotline on issues related to the protection of rights and support for military personnel.

During its operation, approximately 90 calls were received. Citizens inquired about the presence of mobilized personnel in the special military operation zone, the receipt of monetary payments to service members and their families, the search for missing persons, the transportation of the body of a deceased service member, the legality of conscript contracts during active service, the issuance of combatant ID cards, the provision of medical care, housing for service members, disability compensation, the termination of a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense, obtaining a parking space for the disabled, continuing active service in another region of the Russian Federation, and the provision of regional support measures and pension payments.

Questions were also received regarding inclusion on the prisoner of war lists, obtaining a certificate confirming the presence of a spouse in the special military operation zone, extending leave for special military operation participants, and the lack of documentation of injuries.

We also provided consultations with State Council Deputy A.N. Nadrshina, State Council Deputy of the Republic of Tatarstan E.I. Kuzmicheva, representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Social Fund of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Military Commissariat of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan Garrison Military Prosecutor's Office, the State Fund "Defenders of the Fatherland" for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Committee of Families of Warriors of the Fatherland" of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Association "Council of Municipalities."

Citizens received detailed explanations for all their questions. A significant number of inquiries were addressed directly during the hotline. Questions requiring additional review and interagency cooperation have been accepted and will be addressed further.

We see that these hotlines are in demand. The large number of inquiries confirms how pressing issues related to protecting the rights of military personnel and supporting their families are for the public.
