13 February 2026, Friday

Today, the School of Legal Knowledge held a session on the topic: "Say Stop to Fraudsters. Financial Security, Types of Fraud, and Methods for Protecting Your Property and Finances."

The topic of combating fraud is particularly relevant today. The number of cyber fraud cases remains high, so it's important to promptly inform citizens about potential risks and protection methods.

The lecturers included a senior specialist from Sberbank's Economic Security Department and a prosecutor from the Investigative Supervision Department of the Directorate for Supervision of Criminal Procedure and Operational-Investigative Activities of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan. They provided a detailed explanation of common fraudulent schemes, financial security rules, and procedures for dealing with attempted fraud.

Attendees actively asked questions about the time limit for reporting fraudulent activity, which messages from fraudsters can be dangerous, how to protect yourself when making remote purchases, and where to turn if you fall victim to fraud.

I hope the knowledge we gained helped our students navigate similar situations with greater confidence and avoid falling for the tricks of criminals!
