Tatarstan summed up the results of the year in the field of digital development
The final meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan took place today. The board discussed the results of the industry's work in 2025 and outlined key tasks for 2026.
It was noted that in 2026, the republic is embarking on a large-scale transition to its own digital ecosystem, where artificial intelligence will become the basis of governance, economics and social services. The Gosprompt platform, launched in 2025, became the basis of the new strategy. Today, it is used daily by more than 3,000 employees from 152 organizations.
The Republican program for the development of artificial intelligence for 2026-2030 provides for the introduction of AI solutions in medicine, construction, agriculture and urban management. Already, the use of AI makes it possible to reduce the time required for road repairs, improve diagnostic accuracy and improve the efficiency of enterprises.
Special attention was paid to the development of the communications infrastructure. In 2025, 1,082 communication facilities, the so-called base stations, were installed in the republic. Within the framework of the federal project "Eliminating Digital Inequality", 159 sparsely populated settlements of Tatarstan are provided with mobile communications and the Internet.
At the end of the meeting, employees of the industry were awarded state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan for their contribution to the development of informatization and digital technologies.
