Today, I discussed with a correspondent of the TNV TV channel the problem of the so-called "Dolina effect" - fraudulent schemes in which citizens, under the influence of deception and strong psychological pressure, sell housing and transfer the funds received to intruders.
She noted that such cases are systemic in nature and affect not only the affected sellers, but also bona fide home buyers, who subsequently risk losing legally acquired real estate.
We also discussed the need for additional measures to protect citizens' rights when making real estate transactions, including improving legal regulation and increasing the security of financial settlements.
