Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, summarized the results of the Expert Council meeting.
He noted that the Republic has developed a robust and reliable human rights system, which includes not only the consideration of citizens' complaints but also extensive educational activities and targeted solutions for complex and non-standard situations. He stated that the 25-year history of the ombudsman's office has convincingly demonstrated that it is an additional guarantor of state protection of human and civil rights and freedoms in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Farid Mukhametshin emphasized that the country is currently undergoing a crucial and fateful period in its history, associated with the special military operation. The Republic of Tatarstan is carrying out large-scale efforts to provide the front with all necessary supplies and is also providing systematic humanitarian aid to residents of border regions and the sponsored cities of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye.
The range of issues addressed remains broad and diverse, requiring an individualized and balanced approach to each case. At the same time, the Chairman of the State Council emphasized that the mission of human rights activities is noble, extremely important, and truly in demand by society.
