Elena Kuzmicheva, Chairperson of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, delivered a report during the Expert Council meeting.
In her speech, she emphasized that social partnership, implemented by trade unions at all levels, is an effective system of relationships to ensure workers' social and labor rights.
The Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan remains one of the largest territorial trade union organizations in Russia, uniting over 700,000 members.
Under the agreement signed between the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, a constructive dialogue has been established on the protection of workers' social and labor rights. This interaction is carried out through information exchange, joint meetings on current issues of labor law enforcement, and participation in joint events.
The Federation of Trade Unions' participation in telephone hotlines run by the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan was particularly noted. This allows for the prompt identification of problems in the area of social and labor relations and the provision of targeted assistance to applicants.
