Today, an extended meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan was held at the Bashir Rameev IT Park in Kazan.

Tatarstan's Head Rustam Minnikhanov and the Minister of Construction, Housing, and Utilities of Russia Irek Fayzullin participated in the meeting.

It was noted that the construction sector remains one of the key drivers of the republic's economy. Its share of the gross regional product exceeds 7%, and the volume of completed construction work by the end of 2025 amounted to more than 1 trillion rubles.

In 2025, 3,515,000 square meters of housing were commissioned in Tatarstan, a record high in the republic's history. The housing commissioning plan for 2026 is 3,175,000 square meters.

Large-scale improvement programs continue to be implemented. As part of the "Our Yard" program, 677 courtyards were improved in 2025, with work planned for an additional 561 courtyards in 2026. The housing and utilities sector is also continuing its capital repair program: 878 apartment buildings were renovated last year.

Special attention is being paid to training and digitalization of the industry.
"One of the key issues remains training. The construction industry today is highly technological. Training specialists must be a priority," emphasized Rustam Minnikhanov.

At the end of the meeting, state and departmental awards were presented to industry representatives.
