An extended board meeting of the State Tariff Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan was held at the Training and Methodology Center of the Federal Antimonopoly Service. The meeting focused on the results of work for 2025 and objectives for 2026.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin noted that tariff setting is the intersection of the interests of the population, business, and the state. The State Tariff Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan is tasked with ensuring a balance between the social fairness of tariffs for citizens and the sustainable development of the utilities, energy, and transport sectors.
Renat Gainutdinov, Chairman of the State Tariff Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported that in 2025, tariff regulation covered more than 1,000 enterprises in the republic, and nearly 1,000 tariff decisions were made. All regulations underwent legal and anti-corruption reviews and were published in accordance with established procedures.
The board meeting also discussed the indexation of utility tariffs in 2026. It was noted that the increase in citizens' fees will be implemented within the framework of federal legislation, taking into account established indices and maximum permissible deviations for municipalities.
At the end of the meeting, Alexey Pesoshin presented a number of state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan.
