Ms. O. contacted me with a request for assistance in placing her in a social services facility.
To protect the applicant's rights, I contacted the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan. Following the review of the request, Ms. O. was deemed in need of social services in a nursing home and placed on a waiting list.
However, at the time of recognition of her need, the applicant was undergoing inpatient treatment at a medical facility, and therefore the issue of her placement in a nursing home was subject to review after completion of treatment.
Given the social significance of the situation, we continued to follow up on this request and reiterated our request for information on the current status of the matter and the expected timeframe for the provision of social services.
Following this review, the matter was resolved positively – Ms. O. is currently receiving social services at the State Autonomous Institution of Social Services "Yelabuga Nursing Home for the Elderly and Disabled."
