The appeal was resolved positively!

The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from citizen A. complaining about the non-fulfillment of alimony obligations by her former spouse and the inaction of the bailiff service of the Office of the Federal Bailiff Service in the Chuvash Republic. Given that the issue concerned the protection of the rights of a minor child, the situation required an immediate response.

In order to protect the applicant's rights, we have asked the Prosecutor of the Chuvash Republic to verify the arguments presented and take prosecutorial response measures.

Earlier, citizen A. was denied the initiation of enforcement proceedings. The bailiff indicated the lack of identifying data of the debtor as the reason for the refusal.

However, as the audit showed, all the necessary information about the debtor was available and was provided by the applicant in full. Based on this, the bailiff's decision to refuse to initiate enforcement proceedings turned out to be unfounded.

As a result of our joint work, a submission was submitted to the leadership of the Office of the Federal Bailiff Service in the Chuvash Republic, and enforcement proceedings were initiated to recover alimony. Currently, enforcement actions are being carried out on it and enforcement measures are being applied.
