Today, the head of the information and Analytical Department of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan, Adelina Mursalimova, took part in a meeting with representatives of non-profit organizations within the framework of the interregional training "Joint solutions in helping people with HIV."
The training takes place in Kazan from December 15 to 17 and brought together specialists and representatives of non-profit organizations from six regions of the Volga region.
During the meeting, I spoke about the activities of the Commissioner's Office, the format of our interaction with non-profit organizations and the joint projects that we are implementing. Every year, cooperation with non-profit organizations expands, new initiatives and sustainable forms of collaboration appear.
In particular, she shared her experience in implementing Schools of Legal Knowledge for Parents of children with Disabilities and the University of the "Third Age", as well as working with convicts in the framework of rehabilitation teams in conjunction with the Vera Foundation. She also noted our joint activities with the non-profit organizations "Center for Hygienic Education of the Population".
At the end of the meeting, the participants asked interesting questions and thanked for their attention to the activities of organizations involved in the prevention of HIV infection, AIDS and other socially significant diseases.
