We held the final session of the School of Legal Knowledge for the University of the Third Age this year

12 December 2025, Friday

Today we held the final session of the Legal Knowledge School this year, which we traditionally organize jointly with the Union of Pensioners.

The topic was highly sought after: "What We Pay For: How Housing and Utilities Prices and Tariffs Are Formed."

Representatives of the State Housing Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tariff Committee provided a detailed explanation of the structure of utility services, the tariff-setting procedure, the principles of charging fees, and the grounds for recalculations. We discussed all the key aspects of paying for utility services, including issues that often cause difficulties in everyday life!

At the end of the session, the participants asked questions regarding the increase in utility fees starting in the new year, recalculating utility bills, setting the maximum index, installing a gas meter, and the legality of charging for elevator equipment. The lecturers provided detailed explanations on each issue.

If you have any questions or need legal assistance and clarification, we invite you to Legal Aid Day, which will take place next week, December 17, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at the Sovetsky District Administration of Kazan. We look forward to helping everyone!
