The appeal was resolved positively!

We recently received a complaint from Ms. Yu. regarding the actions of a bailiff. The complainant stated that her request to reduce deductions from her salary from 50% to 30% was not properly reviewed, and the amount of funds actually withheld left her below the subsistence minimum.

Recognizing the seriousness of this situation, we promptly contacted the leadership of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Republic of Tatarstan, requesting that they investigate the complainant's arguments and report back.

However, Ms. Yu. subsequently informed us again of the refusal without providing reasons, which required further intervention. To protect the complainant's rights, we contacted the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, requesting that they conduct an investigation and, if necessary, take prosecutorial action.

It was established that the bailiff's order to retain the debtor's wages at the subsistence minimum was sent to the complainant herself, but the document was not sent to the employer in a timely manner, which effectively led to continued deductions at an increased rate.

Following our joint efforts, a submission was made to the Chief Bailiff of the Republic of Tatarstan. The violations have now been rectified. The order to retain the wages at the subsistence minimum has been sent to the employer.
