Kazan is hosting celebrations dedicated to Heroes of the Fatherland Day.
Today, the Galiasgar Kamal Tatar State Academic Theater hosted a ceremony honoring Heroes of Russia, Heroes of Socialist Labor, Heroes of Labor of Russia, and full holders of the Order of Labor Glory, as well as their family members.
Currently, Tatarstan is home to 16 Heroes of Russia, 8 Heroes of Socialist Labor, 3 full holders of the Order of Labor Glory, and 2 Heroes of Labor.
During the ceremony, commemorative medals from the Russian Organizing Committee "Victory" were also presented in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
I congratulate all Heroes of the Fatherland on this holiday! This day is a true tribute to those who demonstrated courage, fortitude, and selflessness in defending our country. Their heroic deeds exemplify true duty, honor, and love for one's homeland.
