A Legal Aid Day for international students was held at the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov
As a follow-up to the Legal Aid Days for International Students, we held a meeting at the N.G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory. The event was attended by Cao Longquan, Deputy Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Kazan, and representatives of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan and the House of Peoples' Friendship.
I spoke to the students about the work of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Republic of Tatarstan, how we can assist them in the event of a violation of their rights, and how they can seek support. We discussed key issues related to the stay of foreign citizens in Russia, as well as the guarantees and protections provided by law.
