A citizen A., an orphan and person left without parental care, contacted the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan. She asked for assistance in realizing her legal right to receive housing from a specialized housing stock.
Earlier, the court ordered the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan to provide the applicant with housing. However, the court's decision was not implemented for a long time, and in order to protect the violated rights of the applicant, we contacted the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan with an official request and recommendations to take urgent measures to provide housing to the applicant.
As a result of the actions we took, the issue was resolved positively. Citizen A. was recommended to contact the branch of the State Housing Fund under the Raisa of the Republic of Tatarstan to conclude a lease agreement for an apartment in the specialized housing stock. Thanks to joint actions, housing was provided to her.
