The second session of the conference, dedicated to legal education of citizens
In the afternoon, we continued the conference work within the framework of the session devoted to one of the key topics - legal education of citizens. The discussion focused on active forms of dissemination of knowledge about human rights and ways of their protection, development of legal awareness of citizens, increasing the level of legal literacy.
Last year alone, we implemented 11 major projects, within the framework of which 120 events were held. These were classes of the School of Legal Knowledge, and Legal Aid Days, and thematic hotlines, and special legal education projects for different categories of citizens.
Particular attention was paid to regional practices within the framework of the session. The presentations concerned formats of work with young people, the older generation, convicts, as well as the experience of subjects in organizing legal education in different social and cultural conditions.
Proposals were made aimed at further development of work formats, including interregional cooperation and international exchange.
We thank everyone who took part in the conference, shared their experience, ideas and practices. Exchange of experience and opinions is the basis for joint work in the field of protecting human rights and freedoms!
