Returning to life without addiction is a long process, but extremely important and necessary.
Today we held a working meeting in the penal colony No. 2 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan. We discussed the prospects for the functioning of rehabilitation units in the Federal Penitentiary Service No. 2 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, created to help convicts suffering from drug addiction and addiction to psychoactive substances.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan public organization of relatives of drug addicts "Vera", the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Medical and Sanitary Unit No. 16 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.
We identified problematic issues and jointly outlined possible ways to solve them. Work in this area will continue. A return visit to this penal colony is planned in a month.
