The All-Russian Forum "Protection and Defense of Rights, Freedoms, and Legitimate Interests of Vulnerable Groups of the Population as a National Priority" was held today in the Kazan Kremlin Presence Offices
The event was organized jointly with the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the St. Petersburg Academy of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan State Institute of Culture, and other partners.
In my speech, I emphasized that protecting the rights of vulnerable categories of citizens is one of the key priorities of our activities. We are faced with requests on a variety of issues: from providing technical means of rehabilitation and creating an accessible environment for people with disabilities to providing assistance to military personnel and the homeless. The problems of social support for elderly citizens, as well as issues related to rapid response to requests through digital platforms, remain relevant.
I believe that the joint work of the state, society, and digital technologies allows us to create conditions for protecting the rights of everyone who needs it.
