Today, a meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan was held at the Volga Region State University of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism in Kazan. The agenda included the results of the health care system in 2024 and plans for 2025.
The meeting was attended by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Before the start of the board, Rustam Minnikhanov presented new ambulances to the medical institutions of the republic.
The main report was delivered by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Marcel Minnullin. He presented the results of the implementation of the national projects "Healthcare" and "Demography", which covered the period from 2019 to 2024.
Among the key achievements of 2024:
- construction of 54 new feldsher-obstetric stations;
- opening of an outpatient clinic in the village of Borisoglebskoye (Kazan);
- commissioning of two new polyclinics - in the Salavat Kuper microdistrict and the city of Nizhnekamsk;
- major repairs of 82 feldsher-obstetric stations, 9 medical outpatient clinics, 16 outpatient and polyclinic institutions and 31 healthcare facilities.
An important event in the development of high-tech medicine was the first operation using a medical robot of the latest generation, carried out at the Republican Clinical Oncology Dispensary at the end of last year. During the board meeting, the dispensary's specialists demonstrated the operation of this equipment via video conferencing: the robot performed an operation to remove a prostate tumor.
Marcel Minnullin also announced the tasks for 2025. Among the priority areas are the implementation of the national projects "Long and Active Life" and "Family", improving the maternity and childhood services, providing medical support to participants in the special military operationand their families, and fulfilling the planned indicators for preventive measures.
