🤝The Ombudsman of Tatarstan met with the new Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
We have warm friendly relations with the Republic of Uzbekistan, and we have been closely cooperating with our colleagues from the consulate in protecting human and civil rights and freedoms for many years. Today we met the new Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan – Nadir Kasimov.
🤝During the meeting, I told my colleague about the main areas of our activities, especially focusing on the issues that we are considering jointly with the consulate. This includes monitoring the level of begging on the streets of Kazan, work in the temporary detention center for foreign citizens, and educational projects with foreign students.
I hope for long and fruitful cooperation in protecting human and civil rights and freedoms!
