On-site inspections by employees of the Office of the Ombudsman

In order to protect the rights of citizens to a favorable environment, employees of the Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Republic of Tatarstan continue to visit the districts of our republic in order to personally monitor the quality of the execution of citizens' notifications to the SIS RT "Public Control" on the problem of untimely removal of solid municipal waste.

Last week we visited the sites specified in citizens' notifications regarding the problem of illegal dumps, untimely removal of municipal solid waste and improper maintenance of their accumulation sites in the Zelenodolsk district.

As part of the survey, we discovered cases of illegal dumps at container sites, in connection with which I sent appeals to the head of the Zelenodolsk municipal district and the general director of the housing and communal services management company to take immediate measures to bring the municipal solid waste accumulation sites into proper sanitary condition. This issue is under our control.
