I told my colleague about the work of the Ombudsman's office in Tatarstan, about close cooperation with colleagues from Uzbekistan, including the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
"As the Human Rights Commissioner of the Republic of Tatarstan, I often turn to my colleague, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Ombudsman) Feruza Eshmatova. In 2021, I took part in the presidential elections as an international observer. We also carry out extensive joint work with the Consulate of Uzbekistan in Kazan. We began working with the previous consul, Fariddin Nasriev, from the date of his appointment in 2018. During this time, he made a great contribution to the development of cooperation between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan."
